Navy PRT Calculator
Score your Physical Readiness Test with the official Guide-5A (Dec 2025) tables: push-ups, forearm plank, and your choice of cardio — 1.5-mile run, 2km row, or swim — by age group and gender. Get per-event points, performance category, overall score, and pass/fail.
Calculate your PRT score
The 12-minute bike test is graded on calories burned, and the standards depend on the bike model (Life Fitness Inc. models use a different procedure than other models). The official PFA mobile app computes the score from the bike model and caloric output, so there is no public points table to calculate from — we don't estimate it here. A caloric output of “20” is recorded if you stop to rest, stop the machine, stand up, or remove your hands from the handlebars.
Your PRT result
Scoring rule: you earn the points of the highest listed standard you meet or beat (reps/plank at or above the number; cardio time at or below it). Overall = average of the three event scores. Standards: Guide-5A Table 4-1.
Official scoring tables by age group
Full Guide-5A tables — all 12 score levels (100 down to 45) for push-ups, forearm plank, 1.5-mile run, 2km row, 500-yd and 450-m swim.
| Points | Category | Push-ups | Plank | 1.5-mi run | 2km row | 500-yd swim | 450-m swim |
|---|
Push-up and plank standards are identical at both altitudes; only cardio times adjust above 5,000 ft. Treadmill is scored with the 1.5-mile run column.

The Navy PRT is a fitness test score — different from body-composition screening, and different from the Army's tests:
Boundary note: this tool scores the Navy Physical Readiness Test (push-ups / plank / cardio performance). It does not estimate body-fat percentage — that is a separate Body Composition Assessment.
