Simulate potential ad revenue from pageviews, CTR, and CPC — compute RPM, work backwards from an income target, or compare two niche scenarios. All calculations run 100% in your browser.
Important: this is an educational simulation, not Google data, not a projection, and not an income promise. The results are only as accurate as the assumption numbers you enter.
Formula: clicks = pageviews × CTR ÷ 100; revenue = clicks × CPC. The ±30% range reflects estimation uncertainty — this is an educational simulation, not a projection of actual revenue.
Google AdSense is Google’s advertising program that lets website or blog owners display ads and receive a share of revenue when visitors view or click those ads. Site owners join the program, place ad units on their pages, and Google matches relevant ads through an automated auction system.
RPM stands for revenue per mille, i.e. revenue per 1,000 pageviews. The formula: (revenue ÷ pageviews) × 1,000. Example: US$ 500.00 of revenue from 100,000 pageviews gives an RPM of US$ 5.00. RPM makes it easy to compare performance across periods or sites without being skewed by traffic volume.
CTR (click-through rate) is the percentage of visitors who click an ad, calculated as (clicks ÷ pageviews) × 100%. CPC (cost per click) is the average amount advertisers pay per click, in US dollars. Both vary by content niche, visitor country, device used, and traffic quality.
The simple formula: clicks = pageviews × CTR ÷ 100, then revenue = clicks × CPC. Example from this calculator: 100,000 pageviews per month × 1% CTR = 1,000 clicks; 1,000 × US$ 0.50 CPC = US$ 500.00 per month, with an illustrative range of US$ 350.00–US$ 650.00 (±30%). That range reflects estimation uncertainty, not a guaranteed minimum or maximum.
Because real revenue is determined by real-time ad auctions: the number of advertisers bidding in your niche, visitor country, device used, seasonality (for example, CPC is generally higher in the final quarter of the year), ad unit placement, and traffic quality. This calculator computes from average figures you enter yourself, so the result is only a reference point for discussion, not a reflection of actual revenue.
Both use the same formula, (revenue ÷ base) × 1,000, but the base differs. Page RPM uses pageviews as the base — one page can hold several ad units. Impression RPM uses ad impressions as the base. Because the bases differ, page RPM and impression RPM figures cannot be compared directly.
No. This calculator is an educational simulation: it computes purely from the numbers you enter yourself, not from Google data, and the result is neither a projection nor an income promise. AdSense also differs from affiliate programs (commission per product sale) and from direct CPM ads (a fixed rate per thousand impressions negotiated with advertisers) — in AdSense, the value of each click or impression is set by auctions among advertisers.
